Learn About and Build Assets

Do you want your children to have a framework of positive experiences and personal qualities they need to grow up healthy, caring and responsible? The Springville Youthnet organization would like to see this community become more familiar with the "40 Developmental Assets" as described by the Search Institute in their book What Kids Need to Succeed and on their website search-institute.org.

"Young people who possess more assets are much less likely to get involved in problem behavior," said Kevin Scholz, chairman of Youthnet.

Youthnet encourages all parents of the Springville/Mapleton area to be aware of the 40 developmental assets, and visit the website.
